Cables for machinery and controls
A machine or control cabinet needs control cable (YSLY-JZ, screened YSLYCY-JZ), screened signal cable (LiYCY, LiYCY-TP), a screened motor cable for frequency converters (2YSLCY-J), drag chain cable for moving parts and bus cable (RS-485). LiYCY, LiYCY-TP and LiHCH-TP are held in stock in Dordrecht.
Machine builders and panel builders work with many types in short lengths, and with repeat orders. We supply what is in stock, cut to length and lock recurring types into a call-off contract.
Control and signal
YSLY-JZ is the standard flexible control cable, with numbered cores and a green/yellow core. YSLYCY-JZ adds a copper braid against interference. For signals and sensors there is LiYCY, with twisted pairs as LiYCY-TP and halogen-free as LiHCH-TP.
Motor cable on a frequency converter
Between frequency converter and motor you need a screened motor cable such as 2YSLCY-J. Its polyethylene insulation limits the charging currents at the converter output, and the symmetrical construction with a copper braid limits interference to the surroundings. Terminate the braid all round at both ends, with an EMC gland.
Moving parts and bus cable
In a drag chain an ordinary control cable soon fails. PUR drag chain cable is made for the job: extra fine-stranded cores, a short lay length and a hard-wearing PUR sheath. For communication between controllers we supply RS-485 bus cable, also halogen-free in class B2ca.
