Q Cables
Choosing a cable is rarely just a matter of picking a type. Application, CPR class, environment and lead time all come into it. That is why we do more than supply cable.
We review your specification with you. Does the type suit the application? Which CPR class does the Dutch building code (Bbl) require in that location, and which approvals does the cable need? We ask questions first and then give our advice, with an alternative if the requested type does not exist or is not suitable. Our advice is an aid; the responsible designer or installer checks it and makes the decision.
If no standard cable meets the specification, one is produced: a different construction, sheath, colour or number of cores. We also supply cable you will not find in any catalogue. From lead-sheathed cable to signal cable built to a customer's own specification, we supply exactly what the specification asks for. If we see an alternative that fits better or is available sooner, we set it alongside so you can choose the best option. For several customers we keep special cable in stock, so repeat orders are faster.
Want to see the cable before you place the order? We can supply a sample of almost any cable; the terms depend on the type. If you would like to have the sample tested yourself, we are happy to help. We include a test report when the project calls for it.
Common types are held in stock in Dordrecht. We cut any length, with no minimum order, and label where needed. Ordered before 12:00, usually on site within 1–2 working days.

About call-off contracts →On drum or in coil, to site or to your warehouse. On-time delivery is the rule with us, not the exception. In the Netherlands usually within 1–2 working days, to Belgium usually within 1–3 working days — export on request. Need it sooner? We arrange express transport. Carriage paid from € 500 net, and drum return is possible: ask about the terms in your enquiry.
