Project Maasvlakte
On the Maasvlakte, a large production site is expanding as part of the energy transition in the port of Rotterdam. An expansion like this needs kilometres of cable: for measurement and control, for power and for safety on site. Each type comes with strict requirements for armouring and halogen-free materials.
Q Cables had 267 kilometres of cable produced for the expansion: 141 kilometres of armoured, halogen-free instrumentation cable per triad (RE-2X(St)HSWAH 1×3×1.5 mm²) and 126 kilometres of halogen-free power cable (N2XRH-J 3×6 mm²). Our business development manager put the order straight into production and monitored the schedule until the last drum was delivered. Delivered in phases, with the necessary documentation.
