Cables for process industry and petrochemicals
Process industry and petrochemicals need instrumentation cable in pairs or triads (RE-2Y(St)Y, PiMF, TiMF, BS 5308), armoured halogen-free power cable for hazardous areas where EN 60079-14 calls for an armoured cable (RZ1MZ1-K(AS)) and instrumentation and control cable with circuit integrity up to PH120 for emergency systems. Q Cables supplied 267 kilometres for a large expansion on the Maasvlakte.

Instrumentation: the right screen per signal
Collectively screened (CAM) for individual signals routed away from power cables; PiMF or TiMF as soon as analogue runs next to digital or many pairs share one sheath. The RE-2Y(St)Y range to EN 50288-7 comes unarmoured or with steel wire armour (SWA), with a black sheath or blue (RAL 5015) for intrinsically safe circuits. BS 5308 Part 1 Type 2 for projects with British engineering.
Hazardous areas, halogen-free and circuit integrity
RZ1MZ1-K(AS) is the armoured, halogen-free power cable for hazardous areas where EN 60079-14 calls for an armoured cable: petrochemical plants, service stations and flammable product stores. Reaction-to-fire class Cca. For emergency systems, smoke extraction, alarms and fire pumps we supply RHOZ1MZ1-K(AS+) and ROZ1MZ1-K(AS+) with PH120 circuit integrity and reaction-to-fire class Cca-s1b,d1,a1.
Proven at project scale
For a large expansion on the Maasvlakte we supplied 141,000 metres of armoured, halogen-free single-triad instrumentation cable (1×3×1.5 mm² RE-2X(St)HSWAH) and 126,000 metres of halogen-free power cable (3×6 mm² N2XRH-J). Length breakdown and delivery dates fixed up front, delivered in phases on call-off.

Yes. Send the list or the specification; we check each type against standard and class and deliver in phases with the necessary documentation.
Which documentation is included?
When the project calls for it: datasheet, declaration of performance (DoP), test report, the cable parameters for intrinsically safe circuits and circuit-integrity certificates.
Do you deliver outside the Netherlands?
The Benelux is our home market; export is available on request, with a separate quote for transport and documentation.
