H07V2-K
PVC insulated flexible wire, 90 °C, 450/750 V
H07V2-K (Tri-Rated) is the panel wire with triple approval: EN, UL and CSA in one type. Fine-stranded copper, 90 °C, for panel building and cabinet wiring that must meet European and North American requirements. Supplied to order; the lead time is stated in the quote.
H07V2-K, also known as Tri-Rated cable, is a flexible, single-core, 90 °C PVC-insulated wire with a class 5 plain copper conductor. Its combined approval to the European (EN 50525-2-31 / BS 6231), American (UL 1015) and Canadian (CSA C22.2) standards makes it suitable for internal panel and control-cabinet wiring, switchgear and general-purpose interconnection where a higher temperature rating than standard H07V-K is required.
Also known as: Tri-Rated · panel wire
Applications
- Internal panel and cabinet wiring for machines that are exported.
- Switchgear and general internal interconnection at 90 °C.
- Machines and panels that must meet EN, UL and CSA at once.
What to look out for
- Fine-stranded (class 5): use ferrules for a reliable terminal connection.
- 90 °C version of H07V-K: use the higher current rating only if terminals and equipment also allow 90 °C (VDE 0298-4).

H07V2-K or H07V-K?
H07V2-K
- 90 °C
H07V-K
- 70 °C
Both are fine-stranded PVC wires for 450/750 V. H07V-K is made for 70 °C; H07V2-K for 90 °C, and as a Tri-Rated wire it is also approved to UL and CSA. Choose H07V2-K for hot enclosures and for panels going to North America. For ordinary panel wiring in Europe, H07V-K is sufficient.

H07V2-K
- PVC insulation
H07Z-K
- halogen-free and cross-linked
Both are fine-stranded wires for 450/750 V and 90 °C. H07V2-K has PVC insulation and UL and CSA approval; H07Z-K has halogen-free, cross-linked insulation. If the specification calls for halogen-free wiring, choose H07Z-K. If the panel must meet North American requirements, choose H07V2-K.
