H07Z1-K
LSZH insulated flexible wire, halogen-free, 450/750 V
H07Z1-K is the halogen-free single-core wire for 450/750 V: fine-stranded copper with LSZH insulation, from 1.5 to 240 mm². The flexible conductor is easier to lay than solid or stranded. For fixed installation in conduit and cabinets in public buildings. Green/yellow 50 and 70 mm² are in stock in Dordrecht; other sizes and colours on request.
H07Z1-K is a harmonised single-core, non-sheathed wire with a flexible plain copper conductor of class 5 and a halogen-free, low-smoke thermoplastic insulation, rated 450/750 V and manufactured in accordance with EN 50525-3-31 (Type 2). It is intended for fixed installation in conduit, trunking or closed installation ducts and for the internal wiring of switchgear, control panels and distribution boards, in particular where people, equipment or escape routes must be protected against corrosive gases and dense smoke in the event of fire. The flexible conductor makes it easier to route and terminate than the solid or stranded variants; the wire is available in the cross-sections 1.5 to 240 mm² in a range of colours. It is not intended for direct burial, outdoor use without protection, or for continuous flexing in service.
Also known as: halogen-free wire
Applications
- Fixed installation in conduit, trunking or duct in public buildings.
- Internal wiring of switchgear, control panels and distribution boards.
- Large cross-sections where a flexible conductor is easier to lay.
What to look out for
- Halogen-free and low smoke, but flame-retardant, not fire-resistant.
- Fine-stranded (class 5): use ferrules for the terminal connection.
- Conductor
- Flexible plain annealed copper, class 5 acc. to IEC 60228 / EN 60228.
- Insulation
- Halogen-free thermoplastic compound type TI7 acc. to EN 50363-7, low smoke emission; no outer sheath (non-sheathed core).
- Core colours
- Black, blue, brown, grey, white, red, green/yellow; other colours on request.
- CPR classification
- Cca-s1,d1,a1 (EN 50575, halogen-free); B2ca-s1a,d1,a1 on request. The stock sizes (green/yellow) are B2ca.

H07Z1-K or H07V-K?
H07Z1-K
- halogen-free insulation
H07V-K
- PVC insulation
Both are fine-stranded wires for 450/750 V and 70 °C, for conduit, trunking and enclosures. H07V-K has PVC insulation; H07Z1-K has halogen-free insulation that gives little smoke and no corrosive gases in a fire. Choose H07Z1-K where the specification calls for halogen-free wire; otherwise H07V-K is sufficient.

H07Z1-K
- thermoplastic insulation
- 70 °C
H07Z-K
- cross-linked insulation
- 90 °C
Both are halogen-free, fine-stranded wires for 450/750 V. H07Z1-K has thermoplastic insulation for 70 °C, H07Z-K cross-linked insulation for 90 °C. That 90 °C only gives more current capacity if terminals and equipment also permit that temperature. Choose H07Z-K for hot enclosures or where you really use that extra capacity; otherwise H07Z1-K is sufficient.
