H05RR-F is the ordinary-duty rubber cable at 300/500 V: EPR insulation with an ordinary rubber sheath. For portable appliances and tools indoors. For oil or outdoor use choose the polychloroprene H05RN-F; for heavy duty, H07RN-F. Supplied to order; the lead time is stated in the quote.
H05RR-F is a harmonised ordinary-duty flexible cable to EN 50525-2-21 with EPR rubber insulation and an ordinary rubber sheath, rated 300/500 V. It is intended for the connection of portable and hand-held appliances and tools subject to light mechanical stress in households, kitchens, offices and workshops, in dry and damp indoor locations, and for use as a flexible supply lead in agricultural and light industrial applications. The cable is flame-retardant and resistant to moisture and moderate temperatures. It is not intended for continuous outdoor exposure or contact with oils, for which H05RN-F should be used, or for heavy mechanical duty, which calls for H07RN-F.
Also known as: rubber cable · rubber cord

H05RR-F or H05RN-F?
H05RR-F
- ordinary rubber sheath
- not resistant to oil
- not for continuous outdoor use
H05RN-F
- polychloroprene sheath
- withstands oil
- withstands ozone and weather
The difference is the sheath. H05RR-F has an ordinary rubber sheath: fine for portable appliances and tools indoors, but not resistant to oil and not for continuous outdoor use. H05RN-F has a polychloroprene sheath that withstands oil, ozone and weather. If the cord goes outdoors, into a wet location or near oil, choose H05RN-F.

H05RR-F
- 300/500 V
- light duty
- indoors
H07RN-F
- 450/750 V
- high mechanical stress
- indoors and outdoors
H05RR-F is a rubber cord for 300/500 V and light duty indoors. H07RN-F is 450/750 V, has an oil- and weather-resistant polychloroprene sheath and is built for high mechanical stress, indoors and outdoors. Choose H07RN-F for building sites, machines and pumps, and H05RR-F for portable appliances and tools in workshops and offices.
