H05BQ-F is the PUR-sheathed rubber cable for 300/500 V: EPR insulation with a polyurethane sheath that is extremely abrasion-, cut- and oil-resistant. For hand tools and portable equipment in the smaller cross-sections. Larger sizes: H07BQ-F. Supplied to order; the lead time is stated in the quote.
H05BQ-F is a harmonised flexible cable to EN 50525-2-21 with EPR rubber core insulation and a thermoplastic polyurethane (PUR) outer sheath, rated 300/500 V and available in 2 to 5 cores of 0.75 and 1.0 mm². The polyurethane sheath gives high resistance to abrasion, cutting, tearing, oils, greases and many chemicals, well beyond that of ordinary rubber-sheathed cables of the same voltage class. It is intended as a supply lead for hand-held tools, portable equipment and machines in workshops, industry and on construction sites, indoors and outdoors, under medium mechanical stress, for fixed installation as well as occasional flexing. The sheath is halogen-free; larger cross-sections (1.5 mm² and up) are covered by H07BQ-F, 450/750 V.
Also known as: PUR cable

H05BQ-F or H07BQ-F?
H05BQ-F
- 300/500 V
- 0.75 and 1 mm²
H07BQ-F
- 450/750 V
- up to 16 mm²
H05BQ-F is the lighter version: 300/500 V, in 0.75 and 1 mm² with 2 to 5 cores. H07BQ-F has the same EPR insulation and PUR sheath, but is 450/750 V and goes up to 16 mm². For hand tools and portable equipment H05BQ-F is enough. If you need more than 1 mm², or the connection calls for 450/750 V, choose H07BQ-F.

H05BQ-F
- PUR sheath
- 90 °C conductor temperature
H05RN-F
- polychloroprene sheath
- 60 °C conductor temperature
Both are 300/500 V with EPR rubber insulation, in 0.75 and 1 mm². H05BQ-F has a PUR sheath with much better resistance to abrasion, cutting and tearing, and is designed for a 90 °C conductor temperature. H05RN-F has a polychloroprene sheath and is designed for 60 °C. Choose H05BQ-F where the cable drags over rough floors or runs past sharp edges, and H05RN-F for light portable appliances, outdoors as well.
