Which one do I choose?

H03VVH2-F or H05VVH2-F?

H03VVH2-F

  • 300/300 V
  • 0.5 or 0.75 mm²
  • lamps and office equipment

H05VVH2-F

  • 300/500 V
  • up to 1.5 mm²
  • household appliances

H03VVH2-F is the lightest flat cord: 300/300 V, in 0.5 or 0.75 mm², for lamps and light audio and office equipment. H05VVH2-F has the same flat shape, but is 300/500 V and goes up to 1.5 mm², for household appliances under medium mechanical stress. For a heavier class II appliance, such as a vacuum cleaner, choose H05VVH2-F. Both cords have two cores and no earth. For an earthed appliance, such as a washing machine or fridge, choose a round cord with a green/yellow core: H05VV-F.
