H07Z1-R
LSZH insulated stranded wire, halogen-free, 450/750 V
H07Z1-R is the halogen-free stranded single-core wire for 450/750 V: class 2 copper with LSZH insulation, from 1.5 to 400 mm². The stranded conductor makes the large sizes easier to handle than solid. For fixed installation in conduit, duct and distribution boards in buildings where many people gather. Supplied to order; the lead time is stated in the quote.
H07Z1-R is a harmonised single-core, non-sheathed wire with a stranded plain copper conductor of class 2 and a halogen-free, low-smoke thermoplastic insulation, rated 450/750 V and manufactured in accordance with EN 50525-3-31 (Type 2). It is intended for fixed installation in surface-mounted or recessed conduit, trunking or closed installation ducts, and for protected fixed wiring inside lighting fittings, switchgear and control equipment, in buildings where many people gather and the emission of smoke and corrosive gases in the event of fire must be limited. The wire is available from 1.5 to 400 mm² in a range of colours, with 500 and 630 mm² on request. It is not intended for direct burial, outdoor use without protection, or for flexing in service.

H07Z1-R or H07Z1-K?
H07Z1-R
- stranded (class 2)
H07Z1-K
- fine-stranded (class 5)
Both are non-sheathed halogen-free wires for 450/750 V and 70 °C. H07Z1-R has a stranded conductor (class 2) for fixed runs, H07Z1-K a fine-stranded one (class 5) that bends more easily. Choose H07Z1-K for wiring in enclosures with many bends; for fixed runs in conduit and duct H07Z1-R is sufficient.

H07Z1-R
- halogen-free insulation
H07V-R
- PVC insulation
Both are non-sheathed stranded wires for 450/750 V and 70 °C. H07V-R has PVC insulation; H07Z1-R has halogen-free insulation that gives little smoke and little corrosive gas in a fire. Choose H07Z1-R where the specification calls for halogen-free wire; otherwise H07V-R is sufficient.

H07Z1-R
- stranded (class 2)
H07Z1-U
- solid (class 1)
Both are non-sheathed halogen-free wires for 450/750 V and 70 °C. H07Z1-R has a stranded conductor (class 2), H07Z1-U a solid one (class 1). Solid wire sits firmly in the terminal, but becomes awkward to lay in the larger cross-sections. For those, choose H07Z1-R; in the small cross-sections H07Z1-U is the usual choice.
