LSZH light flexible cord, halogen-free, 300/300 V
H03Z1Z1-F is the halogen-free counterpart of H03VV-F: the light connecting cord for 300/300 V, but with LSZH insulation and sheath. For light appliances in public buildings where low smoke matters. Supplied to order; the lead time is stated in the quote.
H03Z1Z1-F is a harmonised light flexible cord to EN 50525-3-11 with halogen-free thermoplastic insulation and sheath, rated 300/300 V. It is the low-smoke, halogen-free counterpart of H03VV-F and is intended for the connection of light portable appliances subject to low mechanical stress, such as table and floor lamps, radio and office equipment and small kitchen appliances, in dry indoor locations in households, kitchens and offices, in particular in public buildings where low smoke density and the absence of corrosive gases are required in the event of fire. In the event of fire the cord does not propagate flame and emits only low quantities of smoke and no halogen acids. The cord is not intended for permanent outdoor use, for industrial or agricultural premises, for industrial tools or for luminaires where it may come into contact with hot parts.

What to look out for
- Lightest class (300/300 V); for medium duty choose H05Z1Z1-F.
- Halogen-free and low smoke, but flame-retardant, not fire-resistant.
- Not for luminaires where the cord may touch hot parts.

H03Z1Z1-F is the halogen-free version of the light PVC cord H03VV-F: the same 300/300 V and the same sizes, 0.5 and 0.75 mm². In a fire H03Z1Z1-F gives off little smoke and no halogen acids. If a lamp or small appliance goes into a public building or a place with a low-smoke requirement, choose H03Z1Z1-F; elsewhere H03VV-F is enough.

Both are halogen-free. H03Z1Z1-F is 300/300 V for light appliances under low stress, in 0.5 and 0.75 mm² with 2 to 4 cores. H05Z1Z1-F is 300/500 V for medium duty and also comes in 1 mm² and larger and with five cores. For lamps, radios and small appliances H03Z1Z1-F is enough; for heavier appliances, pendant luminaires and portable equipment choose H05Z1Z1-F.
